EAL Audits by NALDIC and The British Council

Launch of two national audits of EAL that explored provision in schools and training and development for initial teacher education - NALDIC Audit now available online

23rd January saw the successful launch of two national audits of EAL that explored provision in schools and training and development for initial teacher education. Chair for the event was Diana Sutton, Director of The Bell Foundation. The NALDIC audit was presented by Nicola Davies, EAL Consultant and The British Council audit by Catharine Driver, EAL Nexus Senior Adviser, British Council. Mark Sims, Ofsted, gave his response to the audits. We would like to thank all the presenters for their input and Prof. Constant Leung for hosting the event at King's College, London. We plan to follow this event up with a written report and edited video versions of the presentations, but in the interim here is a link to a PDF version of Nicola's presentation. EAL Audit NALDIC
