Eowyn is an applied linguist, author and educator who specialises in languages in education. She has worked as an EAL/ESL, curriculum coordinator, language department coordinator, academic development officer, and as a lecturer in ITE English teacher training programs.
She relocated to England in 2018, after spending 15 years living and working in the Netherlands. Over these years she developed her consultancy to work with internationally living families, and from this developed her popular blog and her “Parents as Language Partners” program, which includes seminars and family language planning.
She continues to combine research and practice, with current research interests in language-integrated teaching, translanguaging, and linguistic landscaping in schools.
She is also a senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, teaching modules in the MA TESOL and PGCert Teaching Multilingual Learners.
