Lobbying on behalf of EAL learners and their teachers
One of NALDIC’s key aims is to support teachers, schools and government agencies to understand and provide well for the distinctive needs of EAL and multilingual learners. We produce responses to current events, briefings and letters on key issues and position statements published in our termly EAL Journal.
2024 Curriculum and Assessment Review
“The launch of the review marks one of the government’s first steps towards an education system driven by high and rising standards, where background is no barrier, and every young person leaves school or college with the best life chances. ”

“As an organisation NALDIC strongly believes that concepts of inclusion and what that looks like and feels like needs to be addressed in any review of the curriculum.”
