Theme: Yet to be confirmed
NALDIC Special Interest Groups (SIGs) have developed in response to requests from members who want to raise the profile of EAL and bilingualism in a specific area of interest.
Agenda
The focus of this event will be for practitioners to share experiences on the following key areas:
– Processes and Pathways for EAL learners at independent schools – how successful are they?
– Managing and expectations of teachers and parents of EAL learners in an independent school – how best can we do this?
– EAL and SEND – where are the boundaries and how best can we support learners?
These are big topics – but we hope to be able to break off into groups, and create a core of burning questions to fuel future events and inquiry.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Convenors | Dawn Cremonese, Louise Mehrabian & Kenna Troup
