You are warmly invited to join the next West Midlands RIG meeting, hosted by Justine Dakin. NALDIC is the national subject association for English as an Additional Language.
The RIG is an opportunity to hear examples of excellent school-based practice that has had a positive impact on EAL and multilingual pupils. It is also a great way to network with like-minded practitioners who share a passion for language teaching and learning, as well as keeping up to date with the latest EAL news and research.
Agenda:
Phil Hynan, DHT Harper Bell SDA Primary School Birmingham.
Phil will share the inspiring work he and his colleagues have done to create a curriculum that reflects the diversity of school’s children and wider community.
Sarah Jones, EAL Coordinator at Lea Forest Primary School, Birmingham.
Sarah will explain how her school gained the EAL Academy’s Quality Mark and the impact this has had on the school’s approach to EAL.
Updates from NALDIC
Opportunities to ask questions and network with participants from schools, settings and organisations involved with EAL learners.
There is no charge for this event, and everyone is welcome.
