You are cordially invited to join our South London RIG, hosted by the University of Roehampton. NALDIC is the national subject association for English as an Additional Language.
The RIG is an opportunity to explore a mixture of research and ‘good practice’ with opportunities to network with colleagues working with EAL and multilingual learners of all ‘ages and stages’ of language acquisition.
Due to C19 measures, our RIG has moved online via ‘Zoom’ until further notice; you will be sent joining details in advance of the meeting via email.

Abi Blaylock, EAL Manager, Riverside Primary School Southwark will share her insights into leading English as an additional language provision in her school. Included will be a discussion of NALDIC’s guidance document ‘The EAL Coordinator – The First One Hundred Days’
Opportunities for sharing ‘good practice’ on supporting multilingual learners with EAL, both remotely and in school/settings
Updates from NALDIC
Information on training and consultancy for schools from the Bell Foundation and Roehampton University
Networking with colleagues in schools, settings and organisations involved with EAL learners.
