Carmen is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Reading, Institute of Education, where she works on language learning in primary school. She worked for 15 years in the field of heritage language education, as a teacher and as a researcher during her PhD at the University of Essex, and is the founder of a complementary school in London.
