Description
This paper is based on a small-scale case study on parental involvement in their children’s learning, focusing on one family. It was carried out by a primary teacher in her own school setting, using ethnographic research principles and an ecological theoretical framework. Contextualised in an analysis of school documents related to parental involvement, the main data are interviews with relevant staff in the school and family members, which focused on homework policy and practices.
