Description
This edition of NALDIC Quarterly is devoted to write-ups from our highly successful thirteenth conference, which was held in November at The University of Warwick. The focus of the conference was on socio-cultural perspectives on the EAL learner and we were very fortunate indeed to attract not only a stimulating keynote speaker in Maggie Hawkins, but also in a the rich array of other presenters who joined us to give seminars and run workshops, including: Susan Bennett, Adrian Blackledge, Felicity Breet, Caroline Coffin, Angela Creese, Rose Drury, Roxy Harris, Christine Helot, Caroline Linse, Katie Scott, and Sue Walters.
