Description
Welcome to this special edition of NALDIC Quarterly on the theme of personalisation. The concept of personalisation in public services, including education, has been debated in policy and research circles for over ten years now. In the past few years we have seen progressive inclusion of this concept into National Curriculum statements and official advice and guidance for teachers. And yet, it would be fair to say that, for teachers and researchers alike, the concept itself has retained a somewhat elusive character in public
debate. The articles in this issue have been designed to explore various aspects of this concept from educational and professional perspectives with reference to EAL.
