Description

This Working Paper provides the opportunity to consider ways in which the knowledge and skills of bilingual adults and children may be fully recognised, drawn on and developed in schools and early years settings. It provides a framework for Local Authorities, schools and early years settings to develop a bilingual pedagogy that is tailored to their context.

This working paper was developed collaboratively between 2005 and 2009.
