Burntwood School, Tooting
Fighting transport strikes and terrible weather, an intrepid group met to share practice and ideas.
After the usual EAL Round-up:
- Mirela Dumić described the pupil-led research centre she and colleagues are setting up in their school.
- Robene Dutta talked about new Mantra Lingua projects to gather insights into pupils’ well-being.
- Emma Hewitt introduced ReWrite’s participatory Creative ESOL work (which last year involved one of our RIG’s host schools). See their blog post on EALJournal.org.
- Cathy Wallace talked about her work with Somali pupils in London schools.
